The federal wind Production Tax Credit (PTC) is an incredibly wasteful subsidy that’s given the wind industry billions of taxpayer dollars and is working to harm reliable, affordable sources of electricity generation like natural gas, coal, and nuclear power. A recent study by the Institute for Energy Research illustrates just how much Big Wind is willing to bilk American taxpayers for the sake of an inherently inefficient, costly energy resource.
