So far, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has made significant cuts and taxpayer savings, including over $1 billion in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) contracts, $6.5 billion in reductions from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), $502 million from the Education Department, and savings across several other departments such as Social Security, Agriculture, and Health and Human Services. Additionally, DOGE has laid off thousands of federal employees, terminated over 1,100 contracts, and restructured various government programs.
